Greetings! We are organizing a Ladies Only DIY Workshop with Lizzie Hodges of Women's Cycling Project
The main objective of this workshop is to allow the participants to have an understanding and technical know how of tube replacement in the event of a puncture and perform crucial safety checks before and after a ride.
We will go through the following during the event:
- How to replace a tube ?
- How to perform alignment of brakes and gears
- Safety Checks (Before and After a Ride)
- Alignment of wheel in the drop outs
- Alignment of stem with front wheel
- How to clean and lubricate a chain
Please bring along your bike during the event as repair practice will be done on your own bike !
(Road bikes are recommended)
