New, optimized design with a large friction surface for more braking power and less brake fading. The newly designed aluminum spider with 7-point mount of the friction ring also ensures better heat dissipation and lower weight. By reducing the vibrations of the disc when braking, the noise level has been further reduced.The rounded edges on the top of the disc minimize the risk of injury and comply with the guidelines of the World Cycling Union UCI. Another advantage is that they make it easier to install the wheel, because the rounded top side prevents tilting in the brake caliper.
